The file "......" could not be loaded.

Hi there I'm getting this error message when trying to open one of my projects. I was going to open a previous version but I don't want to lose the work I've done. 

I also noticed a file with the same name has automatically been created in the same folder as the original file. The new file has the same name but also '.tmp' at the end. 

Perhaps it is some type of saving error, either way I would be grateful if there is a solution

Hi PV Modeler 1234,

I am not sure if I get the question right... do you try to load a project made with a newer version in an older version of PV*SOL? Most of the time, this won't be possible as our internal file format changes quite often from one version to another (major and minor). If it is something else that you're doing, please let me know.

No i'm using the same version of the software. I simply closed the file and cannot open it again as I get this error message. So I cannot access my work.
