We have been using PVSol2019 on different computers with different people, and always got similar results for kWh. But since we decided to test V.2021 on one single computer, that single one keeps getting way too high results, when comparing to V2019 or other simulation tools (eg 4100kWh for 2021 against 3500kWh on 2021).

Notes:

1. On 2019 all modules and inverters were input manually, while on 2021 they were imported automatically.

2. We crosschecked specifications and simulation parameters and the all seem ok.

3. Efficiency % looks is funky, and preety low on 2021, and we don´t know why.

4. We imported the library from 2019 into 2021, didn´t work either.

Hello franc,

frankly, it is a big leap from 2019 to 2021, by the way 2022 is out right now. We did lots of bug fixing plus we try to keep the input climate data up to date, there will be differences. But I must admit that the simulation results seem a bit too off.

Might you be so kind to send me the exact version numbers of the PV*SOL programs (Menu bar > Help > Info > System) plus the project files so we can have a look into it?

What exactly do you mean by that?

Kind regards,
Frederik
