RaW Posted October 13, 2022 Report Posted October 13, 2022 I'm new to PVsol and am experimenting with it in the UK. As far as I know, the best climate data to use in the UK is from SAP 2012, specifically this: https://www.bre.co.uk/filelibrary/SAP/2012/SAP2012_weather_data.xls Please correct me if I am wrong. How best to import this data into PVsol? Thank you. Quote
developer_fw Posted October 14, 2022 Report Posted October 14, 2022 Hello RaW, welcome to the forum! 23 hours ago, RaW said: Please correct me if I am wrong. I cannot evaluate the data regarding its quality but having one source of truth for the whole UK containing all postcode districts seems very nice! On the page System Type, Climate and Grid there is a section Climate Date where you can find MeteoSyn: Within the window Create climate data for a new location it is pretty straightforward to transfer the values from the .xls file: After putting the values for Lat;Lon and pressing Start, the map updates. Zoom to your location and set a new marker by clicking. In the section Data you choose Measurement Data and put your values per month for Radiation and Temperature. Or did you ask for a way to import all climate data locations at once? Kind regards, Frederik Quote
RaW Posted October 14, 2022 Author Report Posted October 14, 2022 Hi Frederik, Thank you for the reply, it's appreciated. It would be great if all the information could be imported at once. Is this possible? Thank you. Quote
