Using BIM in PV SOL

Hello, will the concept of BIM (building information modeling), be implemented in a future version of PV Sol? I would be interested in complex PV program like PV Sol where it is possible to import/ export ifc files, especially when it is able to show and calculate BIPV (building integradet PV).

Hi Pablo,

I am very sorry for the late answer, somehow we oversaw the question. The BIM is very interesting for us and we follow its development and adaptation in the market closely. However we can't give any schedule on when we will integrate it in PV*SOL at the moment.

Hi Martin, no worries. Thanks for the information. I hope that PV*Sol will integrate BIM at some point because I see huge potential in this field and right now there is no Software that is capable of a fully satisfying PV integration in BIM.

Yes it would be great to be able to load the .IFC files!

We very often use these files and than extract drawings to be able to make a 3D model again.
