I'm just going to tag along here with questions.

I read the release notes and am thrilled that it's now 64bit. Although since I almost exclusively use the 3D environment I am curious what it means that it is a standalone 32bit process.

I assume that things will be processed faster and such things, but are there any other upgrades that comes with making it a standalone process? And does it in any way affect imported 3D models (like max size)?

Yes. The most important change is the maximum memory usage reserved for 32bit processes. Since 3D now has its own process, there is slightly more usable overhead. We hope this will solve at least some problems that occur within 3D.

Best regards,
Frederik
