a.elghobashy Posted April 16, 2015 Report Share Posted April 16, 2015 I have a project where in one roof , I have two types of installation one array should be mounted while the other is roof parallel . And I did the first from mounted assembly , then when I add panels from module coverage I get an error messeage saying that I can't use both on the same mounting surface what is the solution for that problem ? developer_ah Posted April 23, 2015 Report Share Posted April 23, 2015 Hello, you can combine both on the same roof with a little trick. You can misuse the PV*SOL assembly system for mounting systems and create a system with a "Mount Angle" of zero and a "Height of Bottom Edge" of 0.005 m. The module distance (for ex. 0.005 m) you enter in the field "Mounting Support Clearance".Then you have to create each array by using single module rows. You can't use the dialog "Maximize Module Rows" in this context. But you can connect the single row to arrays.Happy planning Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
