Can someone explain what it's this factor for PVSol? maybe I understood it wrong and I'm not seeing what is really my problem. I would be very grateful for any help you are able to provide. hotline_sf Posted April 14, 2015 Report Share Posted April 14, 2015 Hello diegov, It is a question of dimensioning the inverter. You have a sizing factor of about 131%. This means you have a relatively small inverter compared to your module field size. In addition the irradiation at your location is very high. So, you have a lot of times with high irradiation were the incoming energy from the pv field is cut off by the inverter because the inverter is too small. You should select a bigger inverter.
