orientation Can you rotate multiple buildings or change the orientation

Hi 

I'm fairly new to PV*SOL. I'm working on a project, with multiple technique rooms on top of the building, spaced evenly out. I have modeled each technique room individually as well as the space between these, as we are considering whether to place the PV in between. I've modelled everything an placed the PV modules, but now I realize, that the building doesn't have the correct orientation

 

 

Rotating each building doesn't really work that well, as you can see Is there a different way of doing this? The easiest would be, if it was possible to change the orientation of the site.

Which part of the building do you want to rotate, and by how many degrees?

You can rotate the main building by right-clicking on it in the tree view on the left, selecting "Edit," and entering the new orientation:

Unfortunately, you can only change the orientation of the technique rooms if their dimensions are small enough to allow them to be rotated on the roof of the main building.

If you have configured the technique rooms incorrectly, you only need to configure one of them properly; you can then delete the others and copy the first one.

Every building needs to be rotated 25 degrees.

Rotating them one by one doesn't work, as each building is "pinned" in the corner to the given coordinate. That's what I was trying to show on this image. And finding the specific base coordinate for each building part will be a living hell  

I've also since learned, that the "multiply object" function doesn't work, if my building isn't perpendicular to the the axos.

You can rotate each building individually by 25 degrees (provided there is sufficient space on the roof):

The "Multiply Object" function also works if your building is not aligned at right angles to the axes.
