Hi

I'm fairly new to PV*SOL. I'm working on a project, with multiple technique rooms on top of the building, spaced evenly out. I have modeled each technique room individually as well as the space between these, as we are considering whether to place the PV in between. I've modelled everything an placed the PV modules, but now I realize, that the building doesn't have the correct orientation

Rotating each building doesn't really work that well, as you can see 😅 Is there a different way of doing this? The easiest would be, if it was possible to change the orientation of the site.

Thanks in advance for your help 🙏

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Which part of the building do you want to rotate, and by how many degrees?

You can rotate the main building by right-clicking on it in the tree view on the left, selecting "Edit," and entering the new orientation:

Unfortunately, you can only change the orientation of the technique rooms if their dimensions are small enough to allow them to be rotated on the roof of the main building.

If you have configured the technique rooms incorrectly, you only need to configure one of them properly; you can then delete the others and copy the first one.

If that does not work, please feel free to send your project file to hotline@valentin-software.com, and we will take a look at it.
