Good Day, can someone please assist.

I need to create a project with a Hybrid Inverter and a separate battery connected to the Inverter. NOT a Battery System with a battery inverter. The battery selections are in the database that I must use but nowhere is there a selection of the free standing battery. Which system type must be used? Is it the one I highlighted below?

In the database the batteries are there, but where do you add them?

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your inquiry.

In PV*SOL, we distinguish between DC-coupled and AC-coupled battery systems. We assume you intend to use a hybrid inverter with an AC-coupled battery system. You must select the hybrid inverter twice in the program: once when configuring the modules (as the PV inverter) and again when selecting the battery system. When selecting the battery system, please ensure you choose a battery system with AC coupling.

Thanks. I figured it out. It should be a DC Intermediate Coupled battery inverter as per below. I had to create my own setup in the database.

I just have another few questions, see below in the SLD, I have questions in red:

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, the editing options for the single-line diagram are limited. You can only make the desired changes manually using other software. You have the option to export the single-line diagram as a PDF, PNG, or SVG file. We have forwarded your requests to our development team.

Good Day, on this topic I just want to confirm; if I have a Hybrid System with PV Solar and Battery connected to the same inverter as per attached, must I select the following System Type?

For this Hybrid system, must my configuration be as below if using a 20kW DEYE 3Phase Hybrid Inverter with a DEYE 5.12kWh Battery?

In the database I have created the following Battery System. I have used the same Inverter in the Battery System as per the Main system:

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We confirm that you have selected the correct system type (Grid-connected PV System with Electrical Appliances and Battery System) and the correct battery system (featuring DC intermediate circuit coupling, in accordance with the circuit diagram).

Although your preferred battery system (Deye 20K inverter with 5.12 kWh battery) is not currently available in our database, the Deye 20K inverter with 20.5 kWh battery system is available. You can copy this battery system and reduce the number of batteries per string from 4 to 1.

Thanks. I have created one already as per below. Just check below if all settings correct please.

Is there a place where you can set the DOD?
