Anders Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 Hello. I have created a design in 3D. I would now like to set the shadow effect to, for example, 5%. How do I do that? Risvænget 6.pvprj Quote
hotline_oh Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 Dear Anders, Thank you for your inquiry. In 3D, you can place a tree in front of your house. By varying the size or distance of the tree, you can simulate a 5 percent reduction in yield due to shading. Alternatively, you can switch to 2D planning by unchecking the box on the "System Type, Climate and Grid" page: On the "PV Modules" page, you can directly enter the value of 5 percent under "Shading": The 5 percent shading will then be taken into account in the energy balance: Risvænget 6 - shading in 2D.pvprj Risvænget 6 - shading in 3D.pvprj Quote
Anders Posted February 24 Author Report Posted February 24 Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know that in 2D I can enter a shadow percentage and was hoping I would have the same option in 3D. But I’ll try adding some trees instead. Quote
