Anders Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 Hi, I’m still new to using PV*SOL. I have two problems. I want to change the image section of my house. As you can see in the attached picture, you can’t see the whole house and all the solar panels. How can I change it so that the entire house and all panels are visible in the report? My next problem is the error message I’m getting, which I’ve also uploaded here. What does it mean, and how can I avoid it? Thanks in advance. Quote
hotline_oh Posted October 30, 2025 Report Posted October 30, 2025 Dear Anders, Thank you for your inquiry. In the screenshot manager, take a screenshot of the desired view and right-click to select "Use as Overview Picture": The error message is always displayed if there are image files in the 3D temp folder that cannot be assigned. As we do not yet know exactly how this can happen, we are unfortunately unable to offer you a solution at present. However, the planning process is not affected by the message, so you can ignore it. J. Esteban Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 05:50 PM Good morning, I would like to enquire whether it is possible to improve the rendering quality in PV*Sol so that the modules remain clear when the image is zoomed out. At present, they appear as dark blocks and only become sharp when I zoom in. I have attached a few reference images for your review. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Kind regards. J. hotline_oh Posted Wednesday at 01:49 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 01:49 PM Dear J. Esteban, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, there is no other way to display large module areas. We will forward your request to our development team. Quote
