Hi, would it be possible to develop roof-spanning wiring , polystring wiring including elevated systems. So a manual string can be completed using the pen. Thanks

Hi, I am still awaiting a response to my last post. Thanks

Hi, Thank you for your quick response. The PV Module used is the DM510G12RT-B54HBT. I have attached the datasheet. I was supplied the .pan file by the manufacturer and it matches the datasheet as you can see below. So, am I right in saying that 24no of these modules at -10 degrees will have a string voltage of approx 1060 V DC? Thanks DMEGC 510W.pdf

Hi, The Sungrow 150k Inverter states a maximum DC Input of 1100V. When using DMEGC 510W PV mods we have been given string lengths of 24 by PVSol on our reports. Sungrow have now told us that the maximum length of PV mods for this invert is actually 22 modules at -10 degrees. The Voc of the modules at -10 degrees is 44.45V. so 44.45 x 24 = 1066.8V Is this getting through to the report due to Sungrow inputting the incorrect Max DC V? Thanks

Hi, Has the auto configuration been removed from the software when designing with Solar Edge inverters. Mine constantly says no configuration can be found. Thanks

Hi, Can you please explain to me where the IAM is calculated within the losses with regards to PV modules? Also, what values are used in these calcs? I would expect to see different values over different angles? The panel I am interested in is the Trina-510-NEG18R.28 VERTEX S+ 2024 Thanks

Thank You

Hi, I have noticed that when a certain amount of inverters are used the Performance ratio per inverter graph only gives one value. Is there a way of getting each individual PR ration per inverter for a site using 12no 40kW inverters? Thanks Carl

I was asking about the AC cables. I have 25 330k inverters all with different lengths ranging from 100 metres to 300 metres. There is no way to manually input each cable length.

Has this feature been added yet? A separate loss for each cable length would be so beneficial.

Thank, I have just sent an email.

Hi, Can you please tell me what would create the Grid Export in First Year to be so low. Thanks Carl
-
Yes but how will i get accurate production figures with the HHD utilised when it is spread across the 3no elevations? How would I work out the self sufficiency and own consumption? Thanks Carl
-
Thank you, how do I perform the shadow simulation for each subsystem individually?
-
Hi, I was just wondering if anybody else is seeing some unrealistic production figures since Meteonorm 8.2 was available? The figures seem to be unachievable on most projects even with extra losses included. I have carried out sunlight hours checks over the past 80 years and maybe its just because we have had a poor couple of years. TIA Carl

Hi, the attached design keeps crashing on the final saving after the shading analysis. Can you tell us why this is happening, thanks. Carl Distribution Depot EW CP.pvprj

Hi, I am designing a large university campus that has one main MPAN Meter with one Half Hour Data values. Due to the size of the site I have had to split the designs across two saved files. Can you tell me how I can create a single production, PR, export, own consumption and self sufficiency for the site overall? I can download the simulation values on excel but was wondering what values I would need to calculate to create the above overall values. Mainly own consumption and self sufficiency. Thanks

Hi, Yes I think maybe 'Under 'PV System Energy Balance Balance' > 'Configuration', we also specify the module-specific partial shading for each inverter and MPP tracker. Does this information help you?' is what I am looking for. Thanks

Thank you for you response. Yes what is the difference in accuracy when using the minute values against the hourly? Thanks
-
Hi, Can you tell me if there is a way I can export the shading loss % per array as an annual figure? Thanks
-
Hi, I am wondering what is the accuracy of the exported production in hourly format when using Meteonorm 8.2? It would be helpful if you have any figures. Thanks
-
Hi, this will work if you have identical rows all alligned. If you have 200 rows all different lengths then the shading will not be straight forward I imagine.

Hi, yes that work fine if you only have the one inverter but what if I have 4no 100kW inverters. How do i distinguish between Inverter 1,2,3,4 etc?
