sorry for the late response.

You are right it should work. And it did for us and for all testers. It seems that in rare corner cases it doesn't.

To track this down some more information about this corner cases would be helpful.

Helpful In this case would be a screenshot, internet speed and if a proxy is involved.

And sorry to say that, but sometimes only a release could fix such errors.

[PV Sol 2018 Probleme]

Hallo Bene,

wir haben jetzt einen Workaround für das Problem der Suche:

Bei der Suche Plz  auswählen und den Ort angeben.

Weiterhin kann jetzt auch mit Koordinaten in dem Format lat:lon z.B. 53.1:13.1 gesucht werden.

Da diese  Änderungen auf dem Server vorgenommen wurden, funktioniert das auch für schon installierte Programme.

 

Zum Januar Release  wird die Suche überarbeitet.

warum Afghanistan oft als erstes Land in der Liste ausgewählt wird untersuchen wir gerade. Dieser Bug wird im Januar Release behoben sein.

It was a problem with the maintenance date for this serial number.

If the program was released after your maintenance ends, the program will start as test version.

To fix this :

• Uninstall this version and install a version released before your maintenance end.
• Renew the maintenance.

[Pvsol 7.0 R5 Meteosyn Could Not Be Found. Please Reinstall]

this can happen when PVSOL 7.0.5 is installed after a newer version from PVSOL (i.e. PVSOL 2016).

This installs a newer MeteoSyn version that do not work with PVSOL 7.0.5

 

Please try this steps:

1. deinstall MeteoSyn
2. reinstall PVSOL .

during the import process meteosyn tries to connect to http://maps.solar-software.de/geoservices/FindNearBy/-34.518/-58.467 . 

"Missing information could not be imported." occurs when this connection fails (server down, no internet connection, firewall)

Is it possible to open the link in a browser?

Hello Maha,

there should be more than 30 cities for Egypt.

which version of meteosyn do you have? Is it possible to create new data with "create climate data" ?

If possible post a screenshot.
