  1. Hello, I have a .MET file from a solar station, how can I convert to a PVSOL compatible format?
  2. You can use as an example an example of PVSOL, such as plant P90 in germany. The Grid feed-in is 20,062,175 kWh/year, while in "PV energy during observation period" is 18,926,713 kWh / year for the first year. I did not understand why the difference for more energy injected into the power grid.
  3. Hello, because in simulations the value of the "grid feed-in" is lower than what I indicate in "PV energy during observation period", since they are annual value. Ex: grid feed-in: 1670kwh. PV energy during observation period in first year: 1645kwh. Also, where can I find the theoretical (lossless) annual energy value (kwh)? Thanks!
  4. Thanks! What would be the best way to save shade losses?
  5. Is it possible to do simulations in 3D mode with 1-axis N-S trackers in PV * SOL? If it is not possible, could you import a ".hor" file from 3D mode to make a common simulation, considering the shading?
  6. Hello, I did some simulations on the PV*SOL for a scenario with enough objects to cause shadowing. However, for a 30 kWp system, the PR was better for the city with more clouds and lower temperature, while the Annual Yield was higher for city with higher temperature. Values: City higher temperature (1846kWh/m2) - PR 68% - YR 1,170.00 kWh / kWp City lower temperature (1467kWh/m2) - PR 72% - YR 1,074.00 kWh / kWp What may explain the behavior of PR, I think it should be higher for city with higher temperature. As happened to a lower power system.
  7. Hi, I've done some simulations involving power optimizers, from Tigo and also Solar Edge. The results in the increase of the performance ratio were small, even in situations of shadowing. Example of a result (performance ratio): 73.6% (without optimizer), 75.8 (with optimizer Tigo). Soon, 1 - The use of optimizers is being viable in the market? 2 - When simulating, which parameters should I configure for best results? And I have tested and followed as an example an example of PV*SOL itself. Thanks!
  8. Hello, I would like to know if it has a shortcut to rotate a set of objects. Example, if I have a house to the north and want to rotate to the south, all set of objects.
  9. Hello, I was simulating the example of the Neuhardeberg power plant. However, I saw that it has 145 MW (https://blogthinkbig.com/solar-photovoltaic-power), so the simulation is only part of the plant? For PV*SOL has 82042 modules. I found it strange that this site (https://blogthinkbig.com/solar-photovoltaic-power) says: "With an output capacity of 145 MW, this plant can produce approximately 19,690,000 kWh of renewable electricity per year." I think the information seems to be incorrect.
  10. Hello, I would like to get the annual average generation of at least 10 years of a photovoltaic system. Observing the losses during its useful life. How do I do that? In PV*SOL i only observe the generation in a base year (Option Production forecast).
