How to Simulate Battery + Thermal (Heating Rod) Systems in PVSol?

How do you currently simulate PV systems which have both battery and heating rod combined?

Dear Rahil Pednekar,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We recommend the following: First, you select the thermal system.

Then you select the heating element for heating domestic hot water.

You can view the solar-generated heat supply in the results.

In the diagram editor, you can read out the data series for the heating rod and import it into Excel.

 

You can now import the *.csv file into the consumption dialogue and simulate your project in combination with a battery.
