The DHW refer to the hot water supply or to the water temperature after you mix the hot water and the cold water at the shower or other fixture?

Valentin help team, confirmed that DHW is the water temperature at the shower after we mix the hot water with cold water while chat GPT confirmed that DHW is the hot water supply temperature and not the mixed water temperature

Dear Mr. Masri,

Thank you for your inquiry.

It’s the mixed hot water and cold water at the shower outlet.

Dear Fadi,

 Thank you for your inquiry.

We confirm that you enter the 43 °C shower temperature in the "Desired DHW temperature" cell.

The tank temperature can be set higher.

So the DHW (Desired hot water temperature) in your software is not actually the desired hot water temperature as per plumbing codes, and it is actually the mixed hot and cold water at the shower

Dear Fadi,

Thank you for your message.

You can freely specify the desired hot water temperature. If you consider 50 or 60 °C more suitable and this is required by the plumbing code, then enter that value. A higher storage temperature is also possible: 45 °C is the default value, which you can change if necessary.

Higher target temperatures require larger system components. We recommend simulating different system variants and comparing the results.
