ionut Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Hello Please help me with the following configuration I want to configure a 20 KW stand alone system with a 20 KWh storage battery. I want to configure the system so that I only use a hybrid offgrid inverter for both, solar panels and battery. I do not want to use a battery inverter. Can this configuration be done in pv sol?? Thank you Quote
hotline_oh Posted March 6 Report Posted March 6 Dear ionut, Thank you for your inquiry. The design of a system with a hybrid inverter in which the battery is located on the DC side is not possible with our tool for stand-alone systems. Only AC-coupled batteries can be simulated with this tool. Instead, you could plan a grid-connected system with the desired components. In the ‘System type, climate and grid’ window, you can set the ‘Maximum Feed-in Power Clipping’ to zero. No energy is then fed into the grid. The value under ‘Total consumption covered by the grid’ then represents the energy that cannot be covered by the PV system. This energy must be supplied by a generator. Quote
