Skylights on flat roof

I have been using PVSOL for big installation about 1MWp mostly for flat roof and PVSOL hasn't had more subjects located on the roof in his tools.

as I use very usually some skylights on flat roof I missing in PVSOL more types of skylights specially circular skylight. There is one limit in parameters of skylight - high is limited by 0,5 m. Sometimes are skyligths about 0,8m high.

Second thing is that flat roof has much more obstacles - any types of chimneys, air condition, LPS lighting rods, antenna etc. These would be nice to have in PVSOL as well.

I am sending some pictures what is on the flat roof typically and what should be modulated in PVSOL.

Dear Miro,

Thank you very much for your enquiry and the good pictures. I will forward them to the right address. I am pretty sure that we will have more skylight objects in the new 3D environment and that you can set a height above 0.5m. We cannot give a date yet, but in case of your requirements I'm quite optimistic that it will be part of the new 3D.

Dear Miro,

You can extrude many superstructures on the roofs as 3D objects. Although they can only be displayed as cuboids, this works very well for air condition, chimneys and higher skylights. The texture of the roof surface is adopted if you tick the corresponding box. The height is applied if you use the Google Solar API. The height can also be edited manually.
