developer_mo Posted July 29 Report Posted July 29 Hello Buro Happold, thanks for your post and sorry for the late reply. Have you tried to reduce the complexity of the model, if this is possible? It is described in more detail in the following post: If this does not help, please contact your colleagues in technical support. Maybe they know another solution. https://valentin-software.com/en/support/technical-support/ Kind regards Mikio Quote
hotline_oh Posted September 5 Report Posted September 5 General recommendations for importing 3D models: File size should be as small as possible, maximum 250 MB. Maximum limit of vertices is 500,000 points (recommendation maximum 200,000 vertices to still be able to work with high performance). The textures should not have more than 4096 x 4096 pixels. No hole structures or open structures in the silhouette of the 3D model. Keep the 3D model as simple as possible. The higher the complexity of the 3D models, the more difficult it is to work in PV*SOL, even if the maximum number of modules, for example, has not yet been exhausted. The following 3D model formats are supported: Quote
