YouriBS Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 Hello, I came across some problems when I started to try mounting pv modules on facades with an angle. I'd like to mount pv modules on a zigzag facade as shown in the file, while being flat to the facade (the facade being 15 degrees). It seems the custom modules I put in the database can't be placed even though I over dimensioned it to try and get them to fit. When placing the modules with a mounting angle greater than 15 degrees it works but when placed at 15 degrees it gives an error. Is it possible to get the panels to align with the facade or should I make the facade flat and input a 15 degree angle in the mounting? Also when trying to get it to work with a smaller example pv module it seems to work (at 0,01 degrees). Are there certain margins I can adjust for, and if so how do I know what those are? Thanks in advance Test3.pvprj Quote
developer_fw Posted July 2 Report Posted July 2 Hello YouriBS Sorry for the belated answer. In case the areas are able to hold the modules in size (vertical size), you should be able to Cover the selected areas automatically without using a mounting system but the Module coverage instead. Are you sure, the drawn model could hold the preferred module? Could you do me a favour and send me your imported 3D model via private message here in the forum so I can have a look into it? Thank you in advance and kind regards Frederik Quote
