DronesToSolar Posted November 13, 2023 Report Posted November 13, 2023 Hi, we are interested in using photogrammetric mesh models created using Agisoft Metashape in PV Solar. However, the maximum dimensions of our model seem to be completely out of range (see image_1.jpg). Once located, the dimensions look fine (see image_2.jpg). Unfortunately, we still can't change anything like rotation angle as it always produces an error message (see image_3.jpg). Therefore, what export options do you suggest for Metashape, particularly regarding coordinate reference system? Thanks a lot in advance! Quote
developer_fw Posted November 13, 2023 Report Posted November 13, 2023 Hello DronesToSolar I must admit I do not have any experience with Metashape, so I could not give any advice for the export. You could provide a custom scale when importing and adapt the ratio until you do get the real height of your object: I hope this helps. Nice model by the way! Kind regards Frederik Quote
DronesToSolar Posted November 13, 2023 Author Report Posted November 13, 2023 Hi Frederik, thanks a lot for your very quick reply! Actually, I just found the reason for the settings being somewhat odd. The Windows settings regarding decimal point (instead of comma) resulted in a conflict with the PV Sol settings. Once I changed the Windows settings to a decimal comma, everything looked fine. Best regards 1 Quote
