Samir Posted August 1, 2023 Report Posted August 1, 2023 Hello everyone, I have problems while importing objects from Sketchup, everytime have some shading crashes, it's 100% sahde for most of panels . How can I fix it? Quote
developer_fw Posted August 1, 2023 Report Posted August 1, 2023 Hello Samir This could be an issue with the 3D object itself, but its just a guess. Could you send me your .pvprj file and the 3D object file which you did use for the import via private message here in the forum? Thank you in advance and kind regards Frederik Quote
developer_fw Posted August 7, 2023 Report Posted August 7, 2023 Hi Samir Thank you for sending the project files. On 8/1/2023 at 9:46 AM, Samir said: it's 100% sahde for most of panels . How can I fix it? What do you mean by 100% shade for most panels? I did the direct radiation shading analysis and get the following percentage values: I could not simulate the project since there was no inverter configuration within your project, I'm afraid. But my guess is that shading losses must not be too high. Kind regards Frederik Quote
Samir Posted August 8, 2023 Author Report Posted August 8, 2023 I dont know why but look when I did the direct radiation shading analysis and I got the following percentage values Quote
developer_fw Posted August 8, 2023 Report Posted August 8, 2023 Hello Samir You are using a version of PV*SOL which still contains a famous attic bug that is fixed in recent versions. Please get in contact with our support hotline for ways to workaround this issue: https://valentin-software.com/en/support/technical-support/ Alternatively you could update PV*SOL to the latest version. Kind regards Frederik Quote
