Problem with recognized building with gable roof

Hi, 

I hope to get support for my problem.

I have building with gable roof. I insert picture from map and I drew the building by using sketch 3D polygon option, but the problem PVsol didn't recognize it as gable roof when I used exclude 3D object as shown in the picture . 

What I can do to solve this problem?

Hi,

unfortunately you have to use a rectangle without cantilevers to make this function available. Something like this won't work:

A "pure" rectangle with an additional gable line like the following...

...plus a right click opening the context menu entry Extrude 3D Object offers several roofs...

...onto which you can place additional objects like chimneys, dormers and so on:

and additional extruded 3D objects next to the building:
