import 3d model

i try to import a .dae file. But i cant activate to install the panels on the roof. but the same file can used in other software. the images are below

the panels are getting installed on the wall  instead of roof.

Hi sathish,

after importing a 3D model one has to define mounting areas onto the surfaces.
It should be possible to draw a mounting area on top of the roof area of your building.
What steps did you take to place modules?
