October 15, 20214 yr comment_6135 Hi, i was wondering if it is possible to model BIPV for curved buildings in PV*SOL? Correct me if i am wrong, but the 3 modelling of curved buildings is not possible in PV*SOL, but i was thinking of doing the sketch either in AutoCad or Sketchup and uploading the file. It does not have to be BIPV, but can be solar panels placed on a racket. Thanks for answers in advance! Report
October 15, 20214 yr comment_6136 Hi Thomas, in PV*SOL it is not possible to place modules or a module mounting on curved surfaces. You'll have to split the surface into small elements with even surfaces, large enough to place PV modules onto it. Also see these posts for reference: Kind regards, Martin Report
