Hi

I am using PV-SOL Preminum R5. I have a problem related with "from-grid tariff" in Financial Analysis section. The from-grid tariff section allows entering a single energy price. However the electricity authority in my country offers different tariffs bands. For exmple the unit price of electricity is € 0.17 upto 250 kWh of consuption and increases to € 0.21 in the next 250 kWh. Should I take the average price and write it as an energy price or is there a way of specifying each band for more precise financial analysis?

Thanks,

Hello Mehmet,

unfortunately there is no way to define differrent tariff bands for the from-grid tariff in the current version of the program. This is planned for a future version which probably will be available in the second half of 2015.

You could use a weighted mean. This would require that you calculate the proportion of the energy which is over 250 kWh and which is under the limit. Afterwards you have to weight the prices accordingly.

For example: The simulation gives you an own use of 800 kWh. Then you would calculate the weighted mean as follows:

(250 kWh / 800 kWh * 0.17€) + (550kWh / 800 kWh * 0.21 €) = 0,1975 €

Best regards
