Hi,

I have a question regarding imported models in PVsol (see image). Because it is drawn with the correct elevation over the sea, it is floating in the air in the pvsol software.

In my opinion, this should not affect the simulation, if anything it will make it even more correct. What is your opinion?

Hi Sondre207,

in general, the position of a building over ground is not important for the shading simulation and will not affect the results. Only if you have other objects that surround the house (or the PV system) it is important to have all set to the correct height and z-position (vertically).

Kind regards,

Martin
