Thomasra Posted March 31 Report Posted March 31 I just Simulated a Roof with old Trina 450W and the new 465W both are NEG9R.28. For an example I made a 2d Simulation with 215Modules same orientation. The old 450W produces 7000kWh/jear more. Is incorrect data stored for the new module or are they simply lower quality? Thomas Quote
hotline_oh Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Dear Thomas, Thank you for your inquiry. The differences in yield are due to the different low-light performance of the modules. In PV*SOL either the PV*SOL model or the two-diode model is used to calculate the characteristic curves. Old Trina module (450 Wp) with specific low-light performance and PV*SOL Model New Trina module (465 Wp) with standard low-light performance and Two-diode Model You can find more information in our FAQs and in our Online Help.
