The degradation of the PV module is not considered during the simulation, but only in the subsequent financial analysis. Furthermore, PV*SOL does not support any degradation other than 100% in the first year (between 0 and 1 year). To account for other sources of loss that are not automatically covered by PV*SOL, you can, for example, use the soiling factor. This reduces the incident radiation by the corresponding factor. Quote
