ohhh, i thought FIT is a slabbed tariff !! And why isn't PV Sol considering the new FIT rates which are valid from July 01, 2019 as per EEG ? By default it takes EEG Oktober 2018. Is there a way to chage the default FIT rates? Thank you

Hey Dev Team, Greetings from Berlin. Attached are the simulation reports of a project with modules in two different orientations. I tried to keep other parameters the same. To my surprise, the FIT value is different in these two simulations though I selected the same FIT price. Of course, the difference is almost negligible (€0,1176 und €0,1178) but i am wondering why there should be any difference. Could you please help me in this ? Thank you !!!! Dear Dev Team, Greetings from Berlin. Attached is a dimensions plan from one of my simultions and as you can see, it looks like a mess. I can hardly differentiate what dimension is for what. Could you please let me know if there is a way to obtain a better plan from PV Sol? Also, I added the load profile as XLS file with 15 min takt. PV Sol simulation report shows just annual generation. Is it possible to access the generation profile just like we have load profiles? Danke!!

Dear PV Sol team, in some cases, especially for customers with private business/workshop, the customers have different electricity price during day and night. For example, our customer in Bautzen, Germany has Verbrauchspreis HT and Verbrauchspreis NT. Could you please let me know how to add this in PV Sol. I tried to add it but i see option for only tariff slabs. Thanks you!!

Hey Dev Team, I was wondering if there is any option for the customers to opt themselves out of FIT and get excused from tax on self consumption (Eigenverbrauchabgabe). I mean if there is any such option available, it would be very attractive for those who have very high self consumption. Thanks, Vishnu

Hey Dev Team, The cashflow table shows that the opex is gradually decresing over a span of 20 years for the system. From my experience companies and customers sign a fixed cost maintenance contract, don' they? Also, generally speaking, more maintenance is required as the system gets older which means opex increases with time which contradicts what is shown in cashflow. could you please explain ?

Hey dev Team, I have a couple of cases where I am supposed to use a Tesvolt battery with emergency power and other case without emergency power TS40 Speicher mit 28,8 kWh und 18 kW Leistung ohne Notstrom TS40 Speicher mit 28,8 kWh und 18 kW Leistung mit Notstrom However, i haven't found these options (with and without emergency power) with the Tesvolt battery in PV Sol My question is what difference the emergency power would make in the end simulation result ? Should i expect more standby consumption in the latter case? Thank you

Hello there, i was going through the cash flow in the PV Sol report and interestingly the FIT value is negative for the first 18 years and then turned positive. Any idea how FIT can be negative? Do you think this has something to do with "Minimum amount per year" in the electricity tariff model that i select during simulation ? Danke!! Wittenberger Straße 38_süd.pdf

dear Marcel, Thank you for the reply. That helped to some extent. i am still not clear if this applies to a single phase inverter with multiple strings ? What are impacts if i uncheck the unbalance load option in simulation?. I mean, are there any particular measures/steps that I need to take when installing the modules and inverter? as this is solaredge inverters that we are talking about, i want to bring it your notice that I simulated the same string design in "SolarEdge Designer" (it is a design/simulation page from Solaredge, just in case you haven't encountered it) and it accepted the design.

Hy there, in the attached project i have used only one solaredge single phase inverter (S5000H) with two strings. Could you please explain me why there is a warning that "max phase difference between inverters is exceeded". 1. Why does it say "inverters" when i used only one 2. what is this warning about and how can i over come this Danke!! Dauerwaldweg 15_süd_190529_1phWR_buildingparallel.pvprj

I have been working on PV Sol quite for sometime designing and simulating PV systems. We try to convince the customer based on the PV Sol simulation results. But simulation is something which we do making many assumptions and the actual results might vary. the question is, as we are talking about a system which has to last for the next 20-25 years and there are many dynamic parameters involved, what is the acceptable deviation in system performance ( annaul generation, specific yield, ) from the simlated results? do you have any idea if there are any regulations on the market in Germany for this ? P.S: Let us assume that we don't have any new objects casting shadow on our system in the future and there is timely inspection and maintenance performed
-
If i am not wrong there is a regulation in Germany that individual solar systems are limited to 70% of the rated power output also called "feed-in management or einspeisemanagement". I believe this is done by the inverters. Does PV Sol take this into consideration when calculating the yield (kWh/year) ? Is the value shown in the PV Sol report past this clipping by inverter?. I found the regulation in a report from Fraunhofer ISE, Germany.

Hey could you please let me know how PVSol calculates Return on Assets (Gesamtkapitalrendite). I have checked the Financial analysis in the PVSol Help but could not find any formula that PVSol uses to calculate it. Danke!!

Hey, is it possible to enter the cost of Modules, inverter, optimizer and substructure manually ? as sometimes companies have deals with component suppliers and may actually get them at cheaper rates than the market rate, the electricity generation cost varies

Hey, I have encountered similar situation when using two Solaredge inverters in one case and only one Solaredge inverter in the other case. The inverter efficiency in both the cases is more or less the same. I convinced myself saying that with change in load profile on the inverter, the point of operation on the inverter efficiency curve changes and hence change in specific annual yield. could this also be one of the potential reasons for the change in yield???

Hey Dev Team, Is it possible to export the data on all the components used in the simulation (zum beispiel Module, inverters, Lesitungsoptimierer) from PVSol to an excel file? -Vishnu

i am using a student version of PV Sol. the application throws an error during the simulation when i am trying to mount the modules. I have to restart the application every time anyone encountered similar problem and figured out a solution? i am using latest version by the way

i have modules facing two directions - south west and south east. i can go for different inverters for different orientations but when i am trying to connect all the modules together i do not see an option to select different inverters for Eg: i can select two solaredge SE 25k inverters but what i want is 1 SE 33.3k and 1 SE 10k. please suggest how to proceed

sorry, the pictures are not clear. but yes, i did the same as you suggested and it worked more or less. thank you

i want to simulate facade mounted modules on an angled balcony as shown in the picture. i was able to do that on a flat or straight balcony but not sure how to mount on angled balcony. please suggest
