Kamal Posted August 2, 2018 Report Posted August 2, 2018 Hello, I had a problem today with the specific annual yield calculation. I planned twice a PV plant with different load profile, but the devices (Inverter, Modules, Batteries) remained unchanged. Surprisingly the specific annual yield changed. Do you have any explanation why the specific annual yield is function of - or at least is influenced by - consumption? Thanks in advance Kamal Quote
hotline_sf Posted August 7, 2018 Report Posted August 7, 2018 Dear Kamal, It can happen if you have a DC coupled battery system. The specific annual yield is calculated on the AC side behind the inverter. But a DC coupled battery system is before the inverter. It thus makes a contribution to the energy generated from the inverter on the AC side, e.g. due to losses. Depending on the load profile the battery system also contributes to the demand. This means it delivers different amounts of energy to the inverter if you have different load profiles. And then the energy converted from the inverter into AC is different which results in different specific annual yield. Best regards Sixten Quote
