Öffnen Sie die Wärmepumpen-Datenbank über den Menüpunkt „Datenbanken“ > „Wärmepumpen“.  Wählen Sie nun aus den vorhandenen Datensätzen eine Wärmepumpe des gleichen Typs mit einer vergleichbaren Leistungszahl (COP) aus und klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste darauf. Wählen Sie im erscheinenden Kontextmenü die Option „Kopie anlegen“.  Im Definitionsfenster können Sie unter Produkt  die Typbezeichnung der Wärmepumpe eingeben. Tragen Sie die benötigten Kennwerte entsprechend des Datenblattes ein. Wenn Sie bei den Prüfpunkten nicht alle auf Ihrem Datenblatt finden, so ändern Sie nur die Prüfpunkte die Sie haben und belassen die anderen entsprechend der Vorlage.  Speichern Sie alles mit „OK“ ab.
