Dear support, I have been using PVSOL for big installation about 1MWp mostly for flat roof and PVSOL hasn't had more subjects located on the roof in his tools. as I use very usually some skylights on flat roof I missing in PVSOL more types of skylights specially circular skylight. There is one limit in parameters of skylight - high is limited by 0,5 m. Sometimes are skyligths about 0,8m high. Second thing is that flat roof has much more obstacles - any types of chimneys, air condition, LPS lighting rods, antenna etc. These would be nice to have in PVSOL as well. I am sending some pictures what is on the flat roof typically and what should be modulated in PVSOL. Thank you. Miro

Dear support, I need to clarify how to make strings automatically as I want to. When I create East-West oriented panels then PVSOL creates string following: 1. String upstairs east, 2. String downstairs west, 3.String upstairs east behind 1.String or somewhere else randomize. This has been mixed illogically and without creativity which user wants. I want to have: 1.MPPT East, 2. MPPT West - those all from up to down started from one point like this: I am just want to change strings simplier than PVSOL offers. I know that there is setting in parameters of strings: direction simple or meander, start in left corner or right corner but practically is very hard to set it and finally it doesn't work user friendly. Hello support, I have instaled a new version 2024 R8 and tried to string some project. Here is a output how does PVSOL create a string plan: Here is a exported plan which is faulty: I set meander before as usually: It doesnť work properly as you can see. Please correct it. Hi Frederik, I would like to remind you about topic above. We were talking about some string excel list generated in the tool for export files and bigger letters on string plan. Have you already given it to development or do you find it as nonsense? Thank you. Miro

Dear Support, I have got some feedback from our technicians on site who got string plan from PVSol export. I have some requirements to improve docs to make it more readable. Please include string numbers and name of inverter in electrical plan like this: Is it feasible to change it? It is going to be clearlier. Next one is to make a bigger font on string plan like this: Your export is really unreadable for electricians. Thank you very much. Miroslav

Dear support, please check datalist of a new inverter Sungrow SG125CX-P2. In PVSol library of this inverter are some discrepancies in parameters such as maximal voltage and voltage range MPPT. Thank you for correcture. Miro

Dear support, I would like to please if it would be possible to make text of modules higher. When I get to tool Drawing and BOM there is also string plan. When I export it into DXF the label of module for example 2.1.1.1 is too low and unreadable after printing. Would be great to have a text higher and readable. Second think is if it would be possible to export electrical drawing into DWG or DXF file as well. Thank you very much. Miroslav

Hi, unfortunately there is no correcture in this last release for longi solar 580Wp. I copied this module and checked Standard low light performance then substituted with a new module. Specific production is lower but I assumed even lower number: Could you think about that what kind of parameter or failure is it still bringing? Thank you. Miro

Hi Frederik, thank you for your answer. I tried to mark this button Standard low light performance but the data are only for reading so I couldn't confirm it. It would be better if you would correct it in your next release generally to avoid that problem when anyone choose any module. Thank you in advance. Miro

Dear support, I created an easy East-West system on trapezodial roof with the tilt 17° and azimuth 278° (almost eastwest) and the program is calculating specific production 1033kWh/kWp. I compared it with PVGIS and there is specific production 890kWh/kWp which is much more real number. Could you recommend me where is the problem in PVSol? Losses are set generally as program has and those I haven't changed at all. Thank you very much for you help. Miroslav
