Export meteo data

Featured Replies

Hello i would like to understand if it is possible to exporte meteo data from PVSOL?

I need to do a project using DWD data and i need to export the meteo data to check the GHI and Tamb.

Thanks

Hi alberto999,

as far as I know, there is no export of meteo data.

If a TMY helps you, you can use DWD based data from our Open TYM API: https://tmyapi.valentin-software.com/

There is also the possibility to copy the table which lies behind the diagrams in the 'Diagram Editor' section on the 'Results' page.  You can copy the table in the clipboard by right clicking on the diagram:

Does this help?

Kind regards

Mikio

Hello,

as my colleague already pointed out you can export the meteo data in the results. We only use TMY's, so if you look for specific data from single years we cannot do that. PVGIS offers that for free (no DWD data). On the TMY API page Mikio named you have the possibility to download CSV's to easily extract the data you need. If you need single years from DWD you can download them from their website (f.e. opendata.dwd.de), but you will need some special programs to read them (.nc format).

Best regards,

Ben
