davidcie
First of all this being my first post – hello to everyone in the community :-) Question to the database team: when do you expect to add the new Sungrow's hybrid inverters? They are quite a bit different from the old SHxxRT with respect to MPPT voltage ranges which I suppose makes simlations using the RT models quite a bit inaccurate if a T-based system is being offered to a client. developer_mo
Hello davidcie, thanks for your post and welcome to the forum community! With the database updates of 2024/06/28 and 2024/08/12 we added/updated following Sungrow SHxxT inverters: The way we do it is that Sungrow makes the entries himself and we release them. Our database team is in contact with Sungrow and regularly asks them to enter their new products. If the inverter you want to use is not yet in the database, you are welcome to write to database@valentin-software.com or directly to sungrow. You can also enter products into the database yourself. Here is the link to the help pages: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/en/databases/components/inverters/ Kind regards and much success with your planning with PV*SOL! davidcie
Thanks for the reply and clarifying how inverters get added to the list. Wrote to the database team, perhaps they will have some success nudging Sungrow to do their part. The SH10T is already available in the Czech Republic so it would be fitting to have it in PVSOL.
