I'm trying to add 20kwh of solax battery's to a design using a solis 40k inverter. when selecting the solax battery's it is showing as dc intermediate circuit coupling. my understanding is that the solax battery's will have to be ac coupled to a separate inverter. I cant seem to make this work.

Hi Johnathan,

thanks for your report and sorry for my late reply.

I will forward it to our database team. If necessary, they will contact the manufacturer to ask if the database entry needs to be changed.

Until this is clarified, you can make a copy of the database entry and change the coupling type to ac coupled.
