Time-of-use battery charging from grid

We recently purchased PVSol Premium and I was surprised to find out that functionality for scheduled grid charging of batteries isn't enabled. My business is targeting mass rollout of financed smart solar + battery systems where grid charging of the battery is an essential feature of the financial model. Batteries will play as important a role in balancing wider renewables through smart grid charging (and discharging) as they will for maximising self-consumption of behind-the-meter solar generation so I would see scheduled grid-charging functionality being an essential feature of PVSol going forward.
